In order to be credited with that free bet, the customer must join Sky Bet, and deposit £5 into their account. The £20 free bet is credited to the player’s account immediately after they join and place a £5 real money bet on anything at odds of 2.0 (evens) or higher. It is limited to one free bet per customer. If any account is identified as being linked to another which has already claimed or is currently claiming this promotion, then it is not eligible for the offer and any bonus credited to either account will be removed.
There are no definitive wagering requirements applied in order for a customer to be able to withdraw winnings from their free bet, but what wagering restrictions there are, are explained fully below.
Wagering Requirements
The actual £20 Sky Bet free bet credited to a customer’s account is non-withdrawable and as such must be redeemed on any single or each way sportsbook market but not in conjunction with any other sign-up bonus. If any winnings result from the staking of the free bet, they will not include the stake as part of the total amount but will immediately be withdrawable if the customer so chooses.
As mentioned above, the free bet can be redeemed on any single or each way sportsbook market, but other bet types including tote pool bets, forecasts and multiples are excluded from the promotion.

Our Rating
The welcome promotion being run by Sky Bet is one which is fairly unique. It’s one of the only offers out there right now that awards customers with a 400% bonus on their first bet.
However… providing just a £20 free bet means that the Sky Bet free bet offer is one of the less generous in total amount and it is restricted for those depositing with Skrill or Neteller which isn’t ideal and will put some punters off.
The fact that there are few limitations placed on the use of the free bet is also a plus but when you consider that the majority of online bookmaker welcome promotions provide at least £30 worth of free bets, and that some offer considerably more, then this offer cannot be rated any higher than 75%.
