Europa League Final Multiple Selection Bet

Hello and welcome to a special tips article we are bringing you specifically for the Europa League Final, which takes place on Friday night at the RhineEnergieStadion in Cologne, Germany. Conquerors of Manchester United and Wolves, Sevilla, who are five-times winners of the Europa League since 2006, will take on an Inter side who won the tournament three times in the 1990s and also lost one other time during that period.

The Italians despatched Bayer Leverkusen and Shakhtar Donetsk in style to reach the final and to try and claim what would be their first silverware in ten years. Furthermore, their striker Romelu Lukaku is in sensational form in the competition, having netted in all of his last 10 games in the tournament, stretching back to his days as an Everton player.

Sevilla though have never failed to win the tournament having reached the quarterfinal stages or beyond and their five wins from five finals means they are two clear of the next best teams in this tournament, who just so happen to include Inter Milan, alongside Juventus, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid.

What we have done today is put together a selection of four different bets on the game, the Match Result, Both Teams to Score, the Correct Score and an Anytime Goalscorer bet which we think all stand a very decent chance of success.

Let’s take a look at how we think this year’s Europa League Final will go, and remember to keep your eye out for a similar article for Sunday night’s big Champions League final too!

Bet Analysis

Sevilla v Inter Milan – Inter to win Match

So who do we think will win the game? Well as good a record as Sevilla have in this tournament, my money is going on Inter. I think of the two teams, they have been the better and more all-rounded performances in the latter stages. Sevilla were fortunate at times in their last two games and I think a side like Inter, in fine goalscoring form, won’t be so quick to let them off the hook. This game will not be a canter for the Italians as their semifinal was, and I do think Sevilla will grab a single goal, but with Martinez and Lukaku in attack, I feel the Italians will have too much firepower for Sevilla to handle.

Sevilla v Inter Milan – Both Teams to Score – Yes

I have already mentioned in my notes for the Match Result bet above that I do think Sevilla have enough quality on the counter attack and going forward to score a goal against Inter Milan, therefore that makes this decision on the both teams to score market a simple choice. I can see both teams scoring in this game as both have done so throughout the campaign.

Sevilla v Inter Milan – Inter Milan to win 2-1

So I’ve backed Inter to win and both teams to score, so the question is what is the pick in the correct score market. Inter have been blasting in the goals this season, outscoring even Juventus in Serie A and they also rapped five past Donetsk in the semifinals. However, Sevilla are a much more robust side in all respects and they won’t be so easy to get past as the Ukrainian side. That said, I feel Lukaku and Martinez have such great complimentary skills that the Italians will grab a couple of goals to snatch the win by a 2-1 scoreline in normal time.

Sevilla v Inter Milan – Lukaku to Score at Any Time

If we are going to back someone to score a goal at any time in this game, it would be foolish not to select the player who has scored in every one of his ten Europa League appearances leading into this game. After a brace against Shakhtar Donetsk in the semis, Lukaku will be in great confidence heading into this game and I think he will be a real handful for the Sevilla defence. I do feel Lukaku is a good bet to score the first goal, but I prefer the flexibility offered by the any time market.
