Footie Acca Tip (Treble) – Sunday 7th October

This Sunday sees a trio of games in the Premier League and I Acca Tipsthink this gives us a very good opportunity to land a Premier League treble bet, that could actually pay out at better odds than some of the fourfold bets on offer recently.

I also think that this bet has an excellent chance of success as all the games involve at least one team from the top five, and the final game involves the top two and unbeaten teams in the Premier League, Liverpool and Manchester City, who face off at Anfield in what should be an absolute cracker.

This is the final set of fixtures before we have another weekend hiatus next week for the return of the Nations League when players will depart their clubs for international matches once again. So it is a huge game for teams who will want to head into the break on the back of a strong result and performance.

Let’s take a look at how I have put together this trio of games for this Sunday’s treble bet.

Bet Analysis: Sunday 7th October

Fulham v Arsenal – Away Win

Fulham’s propensity for conceding goals, they have let in a record high 16 in the Premier League this season (tied with Huddersfield) means that the home side are going to find it very tough to win any game, conceding over 2 goals on average in a game. Arsenal’s defence isn’t great either, but they do have an attack scoring plenty of goals at the other end and this I think means this will be a game where both sides find the net, but I can see Arsenal scoring enough goals to secure a very solid victory here and what would be their sixth win in consecutive Premier League games, since starting the season with two defeats. Fulham must improve defensively, or they will find their stay in the Premier League is a short one.

Southampton v Chelsea – Away Win

After a run of decent results, Southampton have shown their inconsistent in their recent games and that isn’t going to be good enough against a Chelsea side that have drawn both of their last two Premier League games (at West Ham and at home to Liverpool). Maurizio Sarri will know that with Liverpool taking on City in the final game of the weekend following this game, his team could go top, albeit briefly and he will want to put that pressure on his opponents heading into the international break. With Eden Hazard in superb form, the Belgian should be the difference between the teams and I am backing Chelsea to come away with all three points here in what should be a straightforward win for them.

Liverpool v Man City – Draw

What a game to finish the weekend off, Manchester City head to Anfield, to face their nemesis of last season. City defeated Liverpool 5-0 at the Etihad, four goals coming in that game after Sadio Mane was sent off, but Liverpool then beat the Champions in the next three meetings, 4-3 and 3-0 at Anfield and a 2-1 win at the Etihad, the latter two results coming in the Champions League quarterfinals. City’s record at Anfield is extremely poor, but Liverpool come into this game with their key front three players not quite firing on all cylinders as yet and I think this makes a huge difference. Rather than back a Reds win, City’s form is such that I am backing them to get a rare point at Anfield in what should be an incredible game in an amazing atmosphere.
