Premier League Acca – Saturday 30th March

I felt I was a bit unlucky last weekend, I got two results on the money,Acca Tips but the other two were also very close and with a bit of luck, could have gone the right way for me. Unfortunately at the moment, I don’t seem to be getting the rub of the green with these close calls.

After the international games last week, we are back with the Premier League this weekend which is a nice change and I think over the next few weeks, I am going to stick to some shorter odds selections to try and land a few more winners.

While this strategy won’t land you a lifetime of luxury should we get a winner, it does mean that we can start to post some profits once again, which is the short-term goal I’m looking for.

This weekend’s games see Manchester City away at Fulham and then on Sunday Liverpool take on Tottenham at Anfield in what should be a cracking match. That game will form part of my Sunday accumulator tips which will be released tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Here’s hoping that this selection of games can come up trumps for us on Saturday.

Bet Analysis: Saturday 30th March

Burnley v Wolves – Draw

It’s been a tough few weeks for Burnley with four losses in a row and the pressure is now on with Cardiff having a game in hand and just two points behind them. Sean Dyche’s men would like three points in this home game with Wolves but the Midlands side have proven very tough to beat in the league of late and I can’t see them succumbing to defeat here, even though their record against lower placed sides isn’t that great. I still feel Wolves have the classier players but I think Burnley’s spirit and their dangerous attack, can cause this Wolves team a few problems. As such, I think this is a game that will be very close and could well go down to the last minute and as such, I think the draw is the wise move to back here.

Crystal Palace v Huddersfield Town – Home Win

Crystal Palace’s season has been one of superb results but also dreadful inconsistency. Roy Hodgson’s team should not be anywhere near the drop zone as they have the talent to be a top half team but that struggle to put together results has dogged them all season. They are however much better at picking up results than Huddersfield who I said looked doomed a few weeks ago and nothing has changed since then to change my opinion on that. In truth, Palace should win this game very easily in front of their home fans but they have a tendency to make heavy weather of these kinds of games, but even so, I am still going to back them for the win.

Leicester v Bournemouth – Home Win

Since taking over as manager Brendan Rogers watches his new side lose to a last gasp goal at Watford but has then overseen two wins in a row and I think the ex-Celtic manager will be confident his team can make that three at home to a Bournemouth side who have struggled for consistency away from home all season. Eddie Howe’s team is talented but perhaps lacking in experience in key areas and that does show at times against the better sides. Leicester are a good side and have some very good players that I think will exploit Bournemouth’s weaknesses and which could well lead to a relatively comfortable home win for the Foxes.

Manchester United v Watford – Home Win

After losing at Arsenal last time out, Manchester United fans will be expecting their team to put in a better display at home to Watford this weekend. However, they should not underestimate the Hornets who lie in 8th place in the table and who have proved stern opposition for more than a few top teams this season. United still have a few injury concerns too and their home form hasn’t been as strong as on the road in general, but I think after the break and with the home crowd behind them, the Red Devils should be confident of turning this game into a solid performance and three more points in the bag.
