This stage of the season, with all the transfers that have taken place, can be hard to call but it’s pretty clear to me that some teams have done better business than others.

I’ve trawled through the fixtures and come up with my first acc tip of the season for Saturday 11th August. Check it out below.

Bet Analysis: Saturday 11th August

Bournemouth v Cardiff

Cardiff were pretty terrible last time they played Premier League football, they lost 17 of their away games that campaign, and I think they’re going to struggle again this time around. Eddie Howe is one of the best young managers in the Premiership and Bournemouth will be looking to build on last season. With new signing Jefferson Lerma coming in from Levante and the addition of Diego Rico and David Brooks on top I can’t see anything other than a comprehensive home win here.

Fulham v Crystal Palace

In contrast to Cardiff I can see Fulham having a strong season, by strong I mean survival is a real possibility for them, and a home fixture against London rivals Crystal Palace won’t scare them this weekend. Palace have got a really solid manager in Roy Hodgson and they’ll be no pushovers here. I can see both sides having positive spells in the game and whilst I wouldn’t want to pick a winner I think it’s likely both teams will get on the score sheet.

Huddersfield v Chelsea

This selection might surprise a few but Chelsea come with a big question mark this season. Manager Maurizio Sarri is untested in the Premier League and they squad has been awash with transfer rumours this summer. Players can still move abroad even though the window has closed and unrest could cause real problems for the away side with key man Eden Hazard potentially still on the way out. Huddersfield will be well rested and I can see them getting at least one goal here. Chelsea scoring goes without saying.

Wolves v Everton

Everton are a really great price away at Wolves this Saturday evening. They’ve done quality business in the transfer market and I can see that translating into quick success on the pitch. Fans will be right behind the club with Big Sam out and Marco Silva in, along with a host of exciting signings, and I can see them giving Wolves a harsh lesson in Premiership football here. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a decent margin of victory for the Toffee’s and surely the bookies have got this one priced up incorrectly.
