EPL Matchday 11 Accumulator – 4th, 5th and 6th November

No luck last week as I seemed to have an uncanny knack of picking games that ended in a surprise result, bar the Manchester derby.

Still, let’s hope we’re going to land another acca this week with this set of tips.

It’s an interesting weekend of games with an increasingly rare Monday Night game between Tottenham and Chelsea capping things off and I’ve decided to include that game in this set of tips as I really like the odds available on it.

I also feel there’s some great value to be found on some other matches taking place this weekend, so don’t be too surprised if the odds on this accumulator bet I’ve put together is a lot longer than my usual selections!

After a midweek that saw Manchester United and Arsenal dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Newcastle United and West Ham respectively, the action kicks off on Saturday with beleaguered Manchester United heading south for a tricky trip to Fulham.

The Red Devils poor start has heaped the pressure on manager Erik Ten Hag and it could be said that his team is playing for his future this weekend. However, this is not the only big game coming up on game week 11.

We also see Everton host Brighton, with the Toffees in better form of late, while the late game is an absolute cracker as Newcastle United host Arsenal at St James’ Park in what I think will be one of the best games of the season.

Sunday sees Nottingham Forest take on Aston Villa, while Liverpool head south to take on Luton, followed by Monday’s game at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium capping the weekend off nicely.

Check out my acca tip which includes the following four games.

EPL Bet Analysis: Saturday 4th November

Brentford v West Ham United – Away Win

Since gaining promotion to the Premier League, Brentford have won four of their five games against West Ham, losing just one FA Cup tie back in January of last year. That defeat did come at home though and with the Hammers having a huge win over Arsenal in midweek in the Carabao Cup, their confidence should be buoyant ahead of this game. They’ll have to go back to March 1953 though to remember their last league win over Brentford on the road. All things seem to point to a Brentford win here, but for some reason, I just can’t see it. The Bees have been too inconsistent for me and I just feel after that win over Arsenal, the Hammers will want to get their league form back on track and I think they can with a win here.

Newcastle United v Arsenal – Home Win

Arsenal have held sway in this fixture for a long time and their record over Newcastle is one to be proud of with 19 wins from the last 22 games between the two, Newcastle winning just once in that time and drawing two more. Arsenal are also now back challenging at the top of the table while Newcastle, after a run of three successive losses, are 6th and hoping to close the gap on the top five. Whether they can or not will probably depend on results in games like this. But you can bet St James’ Park will be right behind their team and when that happens, big wins can result. Coming into this after a huge win over Man Utd at Old Trafford, while Arsenal lost to West Ham is also very big and as such, I predict a hugely entertaining game, with goals, but with the home side edging to the win to hand Arsenal their first EPL defeat of the season.

Premier League Bet Analysis: Sunday 5th November

Nottingham Forest v Aston Villa – Away Win

These two teams have had contrasting fortunes in recent weeks. Villa are on a fantastic run, picking up 13 points from the last 15 available in the EPL and they remain unbeaten at home. Forest have picked up three points from the same number of games but they have struggled to pick up wins, even if they go in front in games. Villa have been sensational at times over the last few weeks and their attack looks arguably the strongest part of their game. They do struggle a little more on the road though, so I expect Forest to keep things tight but I would expect Villa to land the win anyway.

Premier League Bet Analysis: Monday 6th November

Tottenham v Chelsea – Home Win

Chelsea have often been the executioners when it comes to Tottenham’s hopes and ambitions over the years, but they are hardly in a position to do that this season. Managed by former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and despite over a billion pounds worth of new signings. They are languishing in 11th in the Premier League table and are already 14 points behind their hosts and table toppers today. Spurs have been consistent rather than spectacular in winning games and Ange Postecoglou certainly has installed the right mentality at the club and I think that will be key here and will lead SPurs on to a win.
