How Does 888Sport Acca Insurance Work?
Most online bookmakers nowadays have an acca insurance style promotion but unlike many of them, 888Sport’s Acca Saver is not limited to just football accumulators. In fact, the promotion relates to football, horse racing and greyhound racing accas and provides a refund of losing stakes as a free bet if a qualifying acca is let down by just one unsuccessful leg.
The maximum possible free bet refund which the offer can provide stands at a reasonably impressive £25 and is paid as long as an acca has at least six legs, all of which are at odds of 1/2 or longer, and is worth a minimum of £2. Which Matches & Markets are Eligible?
As we mentioned above, this 888Sport promotion is not just limited to football accumulators, it also encompasses bets with selections from horse racing and greyhound racing.
In order to be eligible to saver your acca, a bet must include at least six selections from the football match result market or the horse or greyhound racing race winner markets. The bet can, however, also include selections from other sports and markets but must have at least six legs from the above markets as well (i.e. a ten-fold accumulator can have four legs from different sports or markets as well as six football/greyhound/horse racing winner selections).
Which Type of Selections and Bets Qualify?
Alongside having to include at least six legs from the specific markets discussed above, there are a handful of other restrictions placed upon accumulators in order for them to be eligible for the promotion.
Each leg of an accumulator must be at odds of 1/2 or longer for the bet to qualify and the bet must be worth a minimum of £2 in terms of initial stake. The acca, too, must be a straight line multiple as opposed to a permutation bet and cannot be placed using a free bet token or as part of any other kind of offer. Finally, any accumulator which is cashed out, will not qualify.
How and When is a Refund Paid?
Assuming that an accumulator fulfils all of the criteria we have discussed above, the punter who places it will receive a refund of their stake as a free bet up to a maximum of £25 if the bet loses due to just one unsuccessful selection. The free bet token provided as a refund of the losing stake will be paid within 72 hours of settlement of the qualifying bet and then remains valid for a total of seven days.
Each free bet token can be used just once, in its entirety and cannot be used in combination with real money. It is eligible for use on single sportsbook bets and cannot be redeemed against each way or permutation wagers. If any winnings result for the use of a free bet token, they will not include a return of the free bet stake.
